A law in California was passed last year AB 481 that allows police departments to use military grade weapons against civilians providing they follow "the rules", it's going as good as you think it is as in there's still hundreds of high powered military guns missing from the "assets list" claiming they are "standard issue" like the handguns or shotguns in vehicles, now they want to turn remote controlled bomb detonating robots into HUMAN KILLING machines straight out of a movie where someone plays a game on a screen and on the other end someone dies for real, people aren't happy about the "secrets" or the robots, a final decision is yet to be made
