חברת TSMC הטייוואנית, החברה הגדולה בעולם לייצור שבבים, אומרת שתייצר את השבבים המתקדמים ביותר שלה, בעלי גודל של 3 ננומטר, על אדמת ארה"ב.
מייסד החברה, מוריס צ'אנג, הודיע השבוע על תוכניות להקמת מפעל חדש של החברה במדינת אריזונה.
סין יכולה כיום לייצר שבבים בגודל 7 ננומטר, אבל נחוצות לה עוד שנים של פיתוח לפני שתוכל לייצר אותם בייצור המוני.
