How to save money but still shoot. Reloading Vs Buying Factory Ammo

A common question we get asked at the range. How can you shoot so much the ammo prices are crazy right now.

Yes because I reloaded them, and if you follow load data do your research then reloads can be safer to shoot then factory ammo

How much do you actually save?
(Answer)
Depends what you shoot, and how much. If you only shoot 100 rounds of 9mm each week it may take awhile to see the savings, but if you like to shoot 500-1000 (223) and 500-1000 (9mm) each weekend you see the savings quick. Lets say 1000 rounds of 9mm (20 boxes) costs $400 from the store, and 1000 rounds of 223 (50 boxes) costs $650 from the store.
that's $1050.00 vs 1000 (9mm) reloads $198.40 & 1000 (223) reloads $376.
$1050 - $574.40 = ($475.60)
Now if I shot 1000 of each 9mm/223 reloads instead of buying factory ammo I'd save $475.60 that's the cost of a decent press.

You can see how it starts to add up quickly. For me I don't really save money, but I shoot way more!!!!
