Archpriest Evfimy Kozlovtsev, a military priest of the joint Cossack brigade "Don" named after Archangel Michael, died today.
Father Evfimy was a real warrior - a warrior of Christ and a warrior - a Cossack. Orenburg Cossack, captain, he chose his path of serving people and fulfilled it to the end.
From the beginning of the special military operation, Father Evfimy could not remain indifferent to what was happening. Perfectly understanding the essence of things, seeing with spiritual eyes the root cause of events, he could not remain indifferent to what was happening. He arrived at the "Don" brigade and was there until the last moment with the Cossacks, instructing and supporting them spiritually, helping with everything that was in his power. Death overtook him at his military post, surrounded by Cossack warriors, his spiritual sons.
