How To Make Mashed Potatoes From Scratch | VERY EASY | Granny's Kitchen Recipes

Learn how to make mashed potatoes from scratch, very easy, following this recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

10 potatoes
1 glass of milk
3 tablespoons butter/margarine
1 tablespoon oil
salt

DIRECTIONS:

Peel and cube the potatoes. Add them in a deep pan and cover with water. Add a sprinkle of
salt in the water and boil them for around 30 minutes, or until they are soft. Remove from heat and drain the excess water. Then add the butter, oil and salt to taste. Mash the potatoes until there are no hard bits left. If you are looking for a softer puree consistency, increase the quantity of milk, if you want a thicker consistency, then add less milk. Taste to make sure there's enough salt. You can add ground pepper as well or any seasoning you want. Sprinkle chopped parsley and enjoy.
