Here’s why TikTok is adding new features & copying BeReal
So BeReal is a very fast-growing new social media platform that prompts users to once per day take a picture of where they are & what they’re doing at a random time.
So TikTok has announced TikTok Now a feature that will give users a daily prompt to share a foto or a video of what they’re currently doing.
Obviously, BeReal is seen as a threat & I mean just imagine if YouTube rolled out their YouTube Shorts right as TikTok first launched & had very few users compared to now.
TikTok very likely wouldn’t have become a major platform & YouTube would still be enjoying their monopoly.
Just like you can enjoy your daily dose of tech news by following this channel, which you should absolutely do, like right now.
So it’s gonna be interesting to see if the new feature will take off or if BeReal will just continue to thrive.
