Portugal train the day after win over Ghana and Ronaldo record

Portugal returned to training on Friday morning in Qatar after their 3-2 win over Ghana in their opening game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The players who were not in the starting line-up against Ghana were the only ones to go on to the pitch at Al Shahaniya Sports Club's training ground.

Fernando Santos' side are now preparing for their second match of the tournament, against Uruguay on Monday (28th November).

Portugal are on top of Group H with three points, two ahead of Uruguay and South Korea, who played out a goalless draw in the first round of matches.
