Random Rants: The Bigotry Of Race-Swapping And What True Diversity In Entertainment Would Look Like

The Little Mermaid remake is getting obliterated on YouTube to the tune of over 1.4 million dislikes as of this moment. It has now become a joke and a meme, and Disney has sacrificed the actress Halle Bailey's career at the altar of virtue signaling and making a quick buck. Not only is it disgusting, but they fail to recognize what real diversity would look like: not rehashed carbon copies with blackwashed characters, but actually adapting original material in order to bring various cultures into the spotlight.
