Bow Hunting for Whitetails

In this video i head out with hunter Joe for my first bow hunting experience. We were hunting for whitetails and elk in this video. It doesn't take long to realize that whitetails are a very intelligent animal. They are hard to track and next to impossible to sneak up on. We resorted to sitting in a couple tree stands and setting up a blind. We ended up spooking a whitetail doe from her bed and did see a 4 point whitetail buck, but getting within range of our bow was not an option. We set up a blind in the trees and hoped that the buck would make its way over to us one it left its bed. Being new to bow hunting, my range is still only between 30-40 yards.
