USB4 Version 2.0

Here’s why the new USB standard is a big deal.
So we’ve gotten another new naming scheme which is better, but that’s also not really a compliment as previous names such as the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 were literally straight up some of the most confusing standard names in tech.
The new USB4 Version 2.0 is gonna be doubling its speed all the way up to 80Gbps.
This is especially great as it will enable even less performance loss when running an external GPU.
And well with all the SSDs getting so blazing fast & with higher resolution & higher refresh monitors coming out all the time, it’s exciting that there’s still going to be one cable to do it all.
Also if you have a previous-gen cable it could also be capable of running at 80Gbps, depending on the quality of the cable.
