- We will never have perfect fairness or equity, but we should at least know which one or both or neither we should be pursuing.

- Fair is playing by the same set of rules.
- How do children view fairness?
- Examples of attempts at fairness:
- Sports Games - Men’s and Women’s sports
- Most work place environments

- Equal removes the rules in an attempt to handicap the motivated and talented so that the unmotivated and untalented get what they don’t deserve.
- Adult children are often screaming about equal or fair as if they are the same thing
- Examples of attempts at equality:
- Anti-discrimination laws
- Pay and wages
- Most of our broken systems of government can be partly attributed to attempts to create equal “rights”
