What does SELFLOVE mean to you?

SELF-LOVE

Today, loving and valuing oneself
Is frequently seen as selfishness and an act
Of narcissism...

We fail to remember
That unless we devote all to ourselves,
We will never be able to properly love those around us
Or provide, for all their needs

It's the same as diving into the water
To save a drowning person
When neither of us
Knows how to swim

You cannot be saved
From a lack of self-love
By a relationship, a friendship, or parenting
If you are unable to fully enjoy
Periods of isolation.

The more you value
Your own self-love
The more carefully
You select the people
In your life

Then you find yourself
In prosperous and contented relationships
Where both parties
Thrive because they enjoy
Who they truly are
Rather than pretend
And wish
That the person will change
Tomorrow…

In business, others will view
You more favourably
If you value yourself more

Life is too, short
To waste it continually
Comparing yourself to others
And passing judgment on them

When you value yourself
Every choice
You make flows
From that place of love
And calmness

Bringing at least
That into your life
Love
Flowing of
Peace
