Intel’s new CPUs will now come with a subscription plan.
Now currently this will only come out for server CPUs, but as we all know the server features usually trickle down to the normal consumer market.
Currently Intel’s gonna be charging a subscription if you wanna unlock some acceleration features that you technically already paid for when buying the CPU.
And it’s gonna have some extra security as well, because we can’t have that for free now can we?

The scary question is where does this lead, I mean are you gonna have to pay a subscription if you wanna overclock your CPU or even use all of its cores?
I mean Marcedes has already released a subscription that you have to pay, if you want your new car to go as fast as it can mechanically.
