Passion 5: Alice & Allies

Could spiritual knowledge from a past be for action now; and not to be taken as laurels on which to rest? In other words: if you have memories of another time, is that supposed to be used for a practical purpose?
Do you believe anyone wishing to be a conscious participant, instead of a cog of a hive mind, herd mentality, can be? In other words: is consciousness a choice?
If there are those who choose to be unconscious, does this create a dichotomy of having to keep reigns on the slightly conscious from trying to control the unconscious in cruel ways. In other words: is evil immature consciousness that needs to be supervised?
Is accepting you have, and must perform, a spiritual job, or a dharma, in itself, the true key to enjoyment? And will choosing a lesser role lead to a dissatisfaction for which there is no other remedy?
