Fowl Play?

Earlier this week, a military flight leaving Chicago was forced into an emergency landing when there was a bird strike at take-off. Aboard this flight was a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Since there has been a patent out since 1954 for artificial birds, a viewer asked if it was possible that this was an attempt at murder most fowl? The Universe responded.
