These are the coolest solar panels I have ever seen.
The device is called the SmartFlower & has actually been in development for quite a few years.
The panels basically fold up when not needed at night time or perhaps to protect themselves during a really bad storm.
And then fold out into a very aesthetically pleasing futuristic robotic flower that also generates clean energy.
Oh, and btw during the day as the Sun moves around in the sky the SmartFlower will follow it in order to make sure the sun rays are hitting the solar panel at the best possible angle.
Obviously, this is gonna be more expensive than just normal solar panels, but it really is just functional art of the future.
