Husband's BEEF STROGANOFF recipe FOR DINNER. This is an EASY RECIPE you need to know
In this video you will learn how to make beef stroganoff quickly and easily. A delicious and easy recipe to serve for the family or impress guests.
This beef stroganoff recipe from my husband is a very easy recipe to make and takes just a few minutes to prepare. The best way to serve it is with rice and french fries (you can use potato straw).
I made it with beef rump but you can use other meats like sirloin or topside.

Ingredients:
• 5 cloves of garlic
• 1 me dium onion
• 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
• 500g (1,1lb) sirloin or rump steak or topside
• 100g (3,5oz) of mushrooms
• 5 tablespoons of wheat flour
• 300g (10,6oz) of ketchup
• 200g (7oz) of table cream
• Salt to taste
• Hot water (will be used during cooking)
Method:
Beat the garlic and onion in the crusher, or chop very small, cut the meat into thin slices, if the mushrooms are large cut in half.
Place the meat in a container, add a little salt, add the wheat flour and mix so that the pieces of meat are breaded with the flour and set aside.
Add the crushed butter, garlic and onion in a pan, bring to a medium heat to sauté, stirring constantly so as not to burn. Once it is sautéed, add the mushrooms and mix.
Put about half a liter of hot water, add the meat, keep stirring, add more water so that it covers the entire contents of the pan, let it cook for 20 minutes, always stirring so it doesn't stick to the bottom, add the ketchup and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.
Check the meat for doneness, add the cream, adjust the salt if necessary, cook for another 5 minutes and it's ready.
