Kemp, Texas

he History of Kemp is very limited. I found out recently that the historian was not able to transfer all of the historical documents to the Texas State Historical Society before they were destroyed by water damage. Kemp used to have a newspaper back in the 1970s and 1980s. When I went to the Kaufman County Library to see if I could locate any of those old newspaper articles, I found they no longer exist.
