The Brutal Axe Dismemberment Of A Taxi Driver In Guerrero | The Brutality Of The Guerrero Guards

On the night of Monday, May 9, after undergoing four surgeries, Oliver Sánchez Coria, alleged leader of the Guardia Guerrerense criminal organization, died in a hospital in Chilpancingo, Guerrero. He was shot multiple times in an organised hit, when he was attending a cock fight.

Not much is know about the Guardia Guerrerense (Guerrero Guards) though it's believed they formed in the mid 2010's as a local defense group. Though, as the years passed, they would participate in organised crime, turning into a fully fledged cartel. Most notably, they have a rivalry with Los Viagras in the Costa Grande region in Guerrero. The conflict in itself has produced graphic content, such as in infamous No Mercy In Mexico video, also known as the Guerrero flaying.

The Guerrero Guards are also no strangers to violence themselves, with this video being a harrowing example of this. The video depicts the slow, brutal dismemberment of a taxi driver, suspected of working for another organisation.
