Samsung and iFixit are joining forces for right to repair

Samsung is joining forces with iFixit to launch a repair program for their devices.
iFixit is of course a major player in the right-to-repair movement as they’ve been providing parts & guides to fix various devices for many years at this point.
And it’s nice to see Samsung joining in, probably feeling a bit of pressure from Apple & Google becoming a bit more repair friendly.
Now the parts you can buy still aren’t perfect, for instance, if you need a new display you pretty much have to buy like half a phone & only the parts for newer devices are available.
But it’s great to see a giant like Samsung joining in & they will probably continue to improve the repairability & parts availability as time goes on.
