Apple the $2.5 trillion company is planning to put more ads on the App Store.
Specifically, they want to put ads right in the App Store’s “Today tab” as well as on individual app pages.
Now obviously Apple’s exploring new ways to generate money on the App Store as it seems their margins are gonna go down because of various legislations being passed around the world.
But my question is do we REALLY need ads so badly on our app stores?
You know places where people go to find & download specific programs that they need for their particular use case.
I personally really hate it when I’m looking for some sort of a tool on an app store & I get bombarded with ads for random stupid games or some stupid subscription-based tools that I’m not gonna use anyways.
