Google & Amazon might share your security footage even without a warrant
So Google and Amazon might share your security camera footage with the police, even if they don’t have a warrant.
Specifically, they’re saying that they might share your videos in case of emergency.
And btw yes as far as policies & the law are concerned this would be completely legal.
Google came out & said they have not yet done this, but Amazon admitted to doing it almost a dozen times this year.
Some of Amazon’s security products do offer end-to-end encryption like Apple & Anker.
Which basically makes it so that they can’t access your video even if they wanted to.
Personally, I really wouldn’t recommend storing such sensitive data like your security footage on external servers that aren't yours.
