Let's remember how many politicians and public figures spoke admiringly of China's barbaric policies.

Our now-chancellor Jeremy Hunt was one of the biggest cheerleaders for the Zero Covid fantasy, saying "we should be aiming for zero infection" and excitedly telling the so-called "Independent SAGE" activist group of a relative: "in Beijing... she had her door sealed!"

Sadly, much of the public, scared half to death by deliberate fear-mongering, would have gone along with this kind of stuff as well.
