Art Garfunkel and the Beach Boys comprise today's Segue City Special a we slide into Tuesday as the countdown for the Great Railroad Strike continues unabated. It's like that old line, "Nobody's right if everybody is wrong" and in this case no one seems terribly concerned about the repercussions of something like that until it actually happens. Then all the times you cussed that freight train that was going slow through a crossing you were stuck at doesn't seem so funny now, does it?

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
