American History in Gibraltar; Operation Torch WWII

Operation Torch was a military campaign carried out between American and British forces in 1942-43 during WWII, spearheaded and commanded in Gibraltar by General Dwight D. Eisenhower future US President.

The Gibraltar National Archive commemorated the 80 year anniversary of Operation Torch by creating a beautiful exhibit at Orange Bastion in Gibraltar next to The American War Memorial.
