Minecraft is banning NFTs

Minecraft is banning NFTs & overall blockchain technology from being integrated into their game.
Mojang the developer of Minecraft says that this is to ensure that Minecraft players have a safe and inclusive experience while playing the game.
And they also say that NFTs encourage digital scarcity & exclusion which goes against Minecraft’s values.
This does ofc make a lot of sense as Mojang will be able to avoid any potential bad press that they might have received at some point when some scammers would’ve made some profit in the game.
Not to mention that if NFTs would come to Minecraft, I’m sure Mojang would want to be the one to implement & make money off of them.
