Malware infested apps downloaded 3 million times from the Play Store

Eight malware-infested apps were able to get onto the PlayStore & gather over 3 million downloads.
The malware was able to execute URLs on a remote browser so it could like download stuff onto your device or maybe send some of your data all very stealthily without the user knowing.
And after Google received the report it took them six months to remove the infected apps, cuz u kno it’s not like it’s a big deal or anything.

And these apps were also heavily promoted online with plenty of adds, so they were probably stealing some pretty valuable information.
