Should the Christian church be socialist?

The early church was a socialist Church? Really? I am pretty sure that Rev Raphael Warnock hasn't thought about this in its Biblical context. It sure sounds fancy when you want the scriptures to prop up your unBiblical ideas, but it's really an old heresy reimagined.
