Ubisoft is shutting down online services for 15 games in September of this year.
They say that closing these online services will allow them to focus their resources on delivering greater experiences on their newer titles.
Let me just translate this.
We’re closing these down because servers are expensive & these games are just not generating money anymore.
The list includes some assassin’s creed games & far cry 3 among others.
And the uncool thing is that you won’t be able to download content such as DLCs for some of these games.
And among them there is also a multiplayer-only game by the name of Space Junkies.
So if you bought that game, sorry but you won’t be able to play it ever again after September because Ubisoft can just do that.
