Brazil forcing Apple to use USB-C

After Europe has implemented a new rule to basically USB-C all the things.
Brazil is thinking of joining the cause in order to reduce e-waste, be more convenient for consumers & help itself accommodate globally adopted standards.
The rule would make it so all smartphones that support charging at over 15 watts would have to use USB-C.
Of course the major target here is Apple with their iPhones that are still stuck on the lightning connector.
Which is great, but quite slow & outdated at this point.
