Why is this important? Because if you're not clear on who you serve, you won't know what to look for and what to do.

For me as a Christian and a believer in God, He is who I serve first, then my family. When I have those priorities in place first then I can focus on my growing business.

I speak to so many solopreneurs and coaches, small business owners, and lots of them are having an identity crisis. They started their businesses because they wanted to help people, yet they don’t focus on what’s really needed for a large portion of their workdays. Then they get busy doing things that aren’t serving them or their business.

They’re exhausted at the end of the day but can’t really say what they’ve gotten done. Anyone been there?

I have. I had to prioritize to move forward, So, who do you serve? Or should I say who do you serve first?

Do you serve God, family, fear, procrastination, excuses?
When I serve God first and make him the first priority it enables me to experience peace in my life and business even when things get hard. God gives us comfort and peace and saves us from unnecessary worry. That helps me to serve and support my family and serve and support my team and clients.

But lots of times we give in and serve fear and your fear of failure will make you serve your work or business to make sure you have your wealth and toys the way you think it should be even if you are unhappy and exhausted. Because we think money is success at the expense of it going against our peace, joy, values, etc.
