The weather update today is a Severe Storm Threat for the southern states. There is a possibility for tornadoes tonight while many may be asleep. A severe weather forecast has been issued for and is not limited to the south-central US.

A Tornado Watch and Tornado warning has been issued. The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for parts of Louisiana, southeastern Arkansas, and central Mississippi.

Storm chasers have been chasing the storms since late morning. This is a very dangerous situation and this dangerous storm may be very severe. This storm may affect more than 40 million people.

People are being encouraged to have preparedness for relocation if necessary. Some places mentioned for dangerous tornadoes are Jackson Mississippi, Greenville South Carolina, Yazoo City Mississippi, and Tupelo MS. Preparedness is the key for this event.

This is a huge deal because of the threat of tornado supercells. Be sure to have a disaster preparedness app or some sort of weather app. A weather app is a necessity.

Not sure if the global news covers all of the above, but it should be considered global news. If not, it should be considered international news.
