Ikea’s new app lets you delete your own furniture & replace it with their new furniture.
You start off by taking a few pictures of your room so the app can construct a 3D model of the space.
After that you can choose your furniture & the AI will remove it like it was never there.
It’s ofc not perfect, but still very impressive & honestly in my opinion just good enough.
And you can then also select Ikea furniture & place it into the space.
Another really cool example of what AI & machine learning can really do.
The app is currently available only on iOS but an Android version is set to release this summer.
