As Ethereum & Bitcoin crash in value along with the rest of crypto, tons of GPUs are being sold off from miners, internet cafes & general hoarders.
And depending on where you live at this point you might just spend more on your electricity bill than what your GPU will be able to actually mine for you.
This is bringing GPU prices down which is great & although these cards have been used 24/7 to mine crypto I really wouldn’t be worried about their longevity.
As long as they were in a well-ventilated room running at decent temperatures… but I mean they should still be under warranty anyways.
So if you need a GPU & you can get a good deal on a used mining one, I’d personally just go for it.
