Do you like silk? Have you ever touched it? From carpets to fabrics being worn, silk is made for many uses. Here is some videos around the world I captured with silk being made.
I also visited the famous museum of Jim Thompson in Bangkok, Thailand but that day my camera broke. You can google it and learn more about silk.
They claim silk was created in China soon migrating the traditions to India, Middle East and even S.E. Asia.
The production of silk originates in China in the Neolithic (Yangshao culture, 4th millennium BC). Silk remained confined to China until the Silk Road opened at some point during the later half of the first millennium BC. China maintained its virtual monopoly over silk production for another thousand years.

My videos are spanning from all over the world. Though i was mainly in the continent of Asia, my other time was mainly hopping from one island to another as well as going from the mountains to the best museums. My channel consists of more than 100 UNESCO sites and travelling places where no tourist go or even has been too. I have hiked, camped, walked and boated through half the world it seems. My videos are all original content where you will find something to watch, enjoy and learn.
