If you have a Bible published more recently, you will find an odd note between the Gospel of John 7:53 and John 8:11. It is a very famous passage that has inspired books, films, and even a song by Rebecca St. James. However, some say the passage does not belong in the Gospel of John OR that it should be removed altogether. Where did this “theory” come from? I take a deep dive.
