Drag Queen Book Read To 2nd Graders. SHOCKING

A 2nd grade teacher in Darien, CT included the book “Julian is a Mermaid” in her curriculum. The book is about a child who transitions, dresses in drag, & strips to his underwear to join a parade 😳.

The board ruled this week that the book is appropriate to remain in the classroom.
