- April, Sergei Protesenya, Exec for Novatec (Natural Gas) found dead with his whole family in Spain
- May, Lukoil Manager Alexander Subbotin found dead in a basement in Moscow
- Also in May, Vladislav Avayed, former VP of Gazprombank, found dead with his whole family

Lukoil is the 2nd largest oil company in Russia, and spoke out about the invasion in march.
