Invasive Species: Three Lionfish Speared on a November snorkel.

The water temperature is 71degF (22degC) . With a high tide and a flat calm area of water, the lionfish were out gulping up schools of fry. I managed to spear the three that I saw. The largest was 17" long. We cooked them up that night. Very tasty!
