Here's some footage of a epic hike from the village Kapatagan to Mount Apo and back. The trail goes through rainforests, cloud forests, and passes sulphur vents near the summit of the mountain (10,300 feet). Though it's possible to hike the mountain in one day, I opted for a more leisurely (yet still difficult) three-day hike.
