The Horrific Legacy of Former Chinese Dictator, Jiang Zemin

On November 30, 2022, former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) dictator Jiang Zemin died in Shanghai.

Among all his actions when in power, Jiang must, first and foremost, be remembered for his launch of a brutal campaign to eradicate Falun Gong, a traditional Buddhist-based practice from China that espouses truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.

Under Jiang’s command, CCP officials detained millions of Falun Gong practitioners and sanctioned the systematic use of violence and torture against them to pressure them to recant their faith or punish them for exposing human rights violations.

This is Jiang Zemin's legacy.
