Look Like Jesus- Fear and...God's Equal?

Does God Fear? Does He have an Equal?

I was watching a show about military strategy, and they said there is no more effective weapon than fear. After looking at the Bible, God even uses fear, or at least instills fear in others. He is all powerful, all knowing, and just all. So how could you not fear him, and what He can do? He even instills fear in the Devil himself. Yet God is impervious to fear. For He is love and good pure and simple. So what does He have to fear? Nothing.

Someone told me that God is all knowing, and argued there was one thing He doesn't know. When I asked what could God, the all knowing, and all powerful not know, he said "an Equal" He has no, nor will He ever have an equal so He doesn't know one, for He has none. I have to admit he makes a good point. But what does the bible say? And what does everyone else think?

Is fear really the most effective weapon?
And does God really not "Know" and equal?

Personally I think the fear this is wrong because love is more effective, yet it’s not a weapon so the point stands I guess. Fear is the best weapon, but love is the best counter. Or so I've come to understand and believe. As for the Equal thing, I have no clue how to argue that. The bible says test everything, and yet I cant argue God not knowing an equal. what does everyone else say? And what does the bible say?
