Kim Carnes and Lauren Woods make up today's Segue City Special as we roll into a Sunday morning with the Mayor holding the fort down at the studio and holding court on the beach and enjoying the gulf breeze. We think we saw Santa Claus lounging under an umbrella and enjoying himself to gear up for his work later this month... big difference when it's sand all around instead of snow...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
