Did you know Bioshock’s landscape and the dystopian setting is based off a book

The book, named Atlas Shrugged, was written by a woman called Ayn Rand, and there are actually a lot of references throughout the game to her.

The main one, being of course, that the main Antagonists name is Andrew Ryan, a very jumbled-up version of Ayn Rand.
