Easy Green Pea and Ham Soup / Lentil & Bacon Bone Soup (Australian Style)
Method
1. Put pressure cooker on medium heat and add bacon bones, peas, onions, chicken stock powder, pepper, and enough hot water to cover bacon bones.
2. Bring it to a boil.
3. When it starts boiling put the lid on with the valve.
4. When valve starts dancing, lower the heat slightly and time it for 10 minutes.
5. After 10 minutes turn the heat off and put the pressure cooker under running water to release the pressure.
6. Take bacon bones out of the soup and take all the meat off the bones, and put the meat back into the soup.
7. Put pan back on medium heat and bring it to a boil. (If the soup is too thick add extra 1 to 2 cups of hot water).
8. When soup starts boiling, taste your seasoning.
9. Add your flour mixture, mix well and cook for a further 1 minute.
10. Turn heat off.
11. Enjoy.
