These are post feminist societies where women are trained to work not to be mothers. Thus the birthrates are well below replacement. There is still some social pressure but women are not socialized to want to be mothers which is where the problem seems to lay. this is all before western "liberalization" really kicks in here and also in the face of massive financial incentives from government. I really see societal collapse for most of these countries. I hope I am wrong but once you start to analyze this, there is only one obvious path.
