In this video I'll show how to build a mortise jig for your router, to be used with Mortise and Tenon Joints.
There are many ways of cutting mortises, such as Mallet and Chisel, Mortising Machines, Routers and Drill Presses to name a few. This week I am making a Wood Router Jig to make mortisie, a simple method for beginners and advanced woodworkers alike. By using a Carbide Router Bit to cut the slot, good clean mortises are easy to make.
