ART MEDITATION on my work VORTEX. An exploration of Duality, Light & Darkness, inner & outer world

I understand my artworks as metaphysical tools for self-discovery. I've developed a series of art meditations on these works that can be used as metaphysical tools for personal contemplation and your inner journey. The particular work serves as a portal that opens us up to our inner world and leads us deeper within, into our unknown, our mystery of self, our universe, our darkness.
One can thereby receive an inspiration and activation to one's very own questions, themes or problems.

PREPARATION:
Prepare by relaxing, quieting your mind, breathing in and with breathing out let go of all mind chatter and open up to the experience.
You can start this process with a question, an intention or just be open and let the work reveal itself to you.
The art work has a unique effect, inspiration or activation for you. It can be appealing or repelling. Know, that this is not the art work per se doing this, it's a mirror for a (sobconscious) reaction within you, that you can now address:
What comes up for you? Where are you in this image? What does it remind you of? What kind of feelings/images/memories does it evoke?
Be very attentive of what is happening. You connected with the work and now it is giving you your very personal unique message. It can come in mentally, as words, it can come in emotionally, physically as bodily sensations, it can be a metaphysical experience.
Know that there is no right or wrong here. Don't judge the process but receive the experience, as it is your co-creation and therefore unique to you.

On the video series LIGHT & SHADOW - Art that transcends duality“

In this series I present you a selection of my art works that you can use as "metaphysical tools" to open up, explore, expand and transcend the concept of duality of light and dark (within yourself), in order to inspire and empower your life and to know thyself.
On the northern hemisphere we are entering the dark and cold time of the year. Darkness is omnipresent, both in nature and in our society, and it invites us to face it, to go inwards, explore it and understand its power both for the good and for the bad, as there is no darkness without light!

It is through my art works, that I myself embarked on the journey of transcendence, and explored the dance and fight, the creative and destructive power of light and darkness. And in this series I will share with you an inspiring selection of art works that address this challenging topic of duality and the dynamics of light and shadow and how YOU can transcend them, in order to tap into your creative power, that is the result of the dance between your inner light and darkness.
