The State of NY governor & legislature are serial 2A violators😱

The State of New York’s governor and legislature have proven themselves to be serial second amendment violators. 😱

Gun laws passed by New York legislators have been continually challenged and continually ruled as unconstitutional, yet every time one law is struck down, they enact something a bit different but with the same results; Unconstitutional attacks on law abiding citizens who have every right to keep and bear arms.

They are in violation of the recent supreme court ruling as we speak. Why is the supreme court not moving to enforce, to sanction the New York government for
continual violations of the right to keep and bear arms?👈

Second Amendment of the US Constitution

A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The second amendment does not say, we can discuss it or legislate what it really means, it states Shall Not Be Infringed. PERIOD. Yet the state of New York continually violates its citizens’ rights. It is time a federal judge requires all gun legislation coming out of the New York legislature be sent to a federal judge for review. A state that continually violates rights enshrined in our constitution must be reined in. We do have legal precedent for such federal judicial oversight, and it is time to use it.

Continual Violation of Rights Enshrined in Our Constitution

California is another major violator of citizen rights, the number of anti-gun laws struck down in that state are just as egregious as those of New York. Both states should have a federal monitor reviewing all legislation prior to said legislation being sent to their respective governors. State rights as written in the 10th amendment which is meant to limit the power our federal government may hold over the 50 states, but when a state acts with malice against law abiding citizens on a continual basis. Enough is enough.

Washington is broken.

Here at Convention of States we have a solution as big as the problem.

An Article V Convention of States is called and controlled by the states and has the power to PROPOSE constitutional amendments.

These are our three, simple talking points.
1. Limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government (including the
president)
2. Limit the terms of office for federal officials
3. Limit the ability of Congress and the president to spend and waste our hard-
earned money, via a Balanced Budget Amendment
