The latest Dallas Cowboys news is led by the Anthony Brown injury that will end his 2022 NFL season. Brown suffered an Achilles injury in NFL Week 13 vs. the Indianapolis Colts and will now be placed on injured reserve and the Cowboys will now need to find a new #2 corner to pair with Trevon Diggs and nickel corner Daron Bland. The Cowboys are pretty thin at cornerback, so NFL free agency could be an option to try to find some depth. Cowboys rumors are set to heat up about roster moves at CB. There are some options at CB in both free agency and on the Cowboys roster right now. But it is December and the options are not that great. Perhaps Jerry Jones & Mike McCarthy can make something happen before Week 14 vs. the Houston Texans.

There are some solid internal options on the roster for Dallas. Kelvin Joseph is going to get the first crack at playing time, but fellow Top 100 NFL Draft pick Nahshon Wright is now primed to finally be active on game days. And perhaps safety Israel Mukuamu can play some corner. In NFL free agency, Kevin King, Desmond Trufant & A.J. Bouye are seasoned veterans, but might not be good enough anymore. Richard Sherman is a big name, but he’s washed/retired. Looking at practice squad players to poach might be an option for the Cowboys as well.
